A little something from Ida Aguilar

Hello my name is Ida Aguilar, a sixth grader in Mrs. Greene's 5th and 6th grade room! This week we had Parent-Teacher conferences on Tuesday. We have had a lot of fun these weeks with Mrs.Greene! Every day when we enter the classroom she will lay a puzzle piece on someone's desk then that person will get to put the piece on a puzzle we have started since the first day of school. I think we are now at the 26th week not for sure? There is one thing that I am for sure about; Red Ribbon week is coming up next week! Have a nice day and a Happy Halloween!                                                                                                                        -Ida Aguilar

We have so much fun!----- Rachel Jackson

Hi! This is Rachel Jackson. I'm a six grader in Mrs. Greene's room. We do a lot here but we have a lot of fun! On Friday we have a time where we play games, play i-pad, or work on homework. This peroid of time is called "Friday Fun Time". We also have P.E..  Every Wednesday and Friday we have a mass. Everyone will get a part in mass this year. I love this classroom! We now have Halloween decorations up in the class room. When we are studing for a test we play "Grudgeball" it is where you are split in to teams and if you get the questions right then you get to shoot a Nerf ball into a small hoop. We do so many fun things like brain breaks, extra credit assiments, and '"Friday Fun Time". I hope you guys enjoy reading this a much as I enjoy my classroom.

It has been a while!!

Ok, so I know that this was suppose to be for students. However, I have found it quite difficult to have adequate time for students to fill this in.

We have been in school now for about a month. We have done a few test and have had a lot of fun. Students are currently working on dioramas for Social Studies. They have to compare the Old Stone Age to the New Stone Age. Otherwise we have been getting ready for the Inview test and the TerraNova test. These test will be going on from Sept. 30 to Oct. 18.

I'm looking forward to the school year and seeing how it will unfold.

Welcome!!

Hello parents and students,

I wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. I am Mrs. Greene the new 5/6 Grade teacher at St. Leonard's School. I will be spending most of your child's day with them.

So a little about me. This is my first year teaching. I graduated from Wayne State College in December of 2012. I grew up in Leigh, NE. I have one brother and one sister. I am the aunt to three boys and one girl between my siblings. My husband is Riley and I have a wonderful three year old, Jackson.

I hope this year is as fun and exciting for the students as I am hoping it will be for me. I look forward to meeting all of you August 6th for Welcome Back Night or at least August 14 on the first day of school.
